Krystal Lovers Hall of Fame
What started out as a simple request for Krystal to sponsor the Trumpet section page in this year’s football program, has led to the selection of the DHS Trumpet line as a charter member inductee into the Krystal Lovers Hall of Fame. For many years, the trumpet section members have made countless trips to Krystal before football games, contests, and other band functions. As a result of this long term patronage, Krystal wants to showcase the trumpet line and honor the DHS band as a whole with this tribute.
For more than 10 years, members of the trumpet section have kept up the Friday night tradition. For their efforts, the 8 members of this year’s trumpet section were treated to free food and much fanfare at the Waugh Street Krystal Wednesday night as the trumpet section was inducted into the Krystal Lovers Hall of Fame. For a limited time, the trumpet section is being featured on specially designed hamburger and cheeseburger boxes in all Krystal stores. The trumpet section will also be showcased at the Krystal Lovers Hall of Fame Web site at www.krystal.com. The band members were selected from thousands of entries and the trumpet section is one of the first 20 inductees for the new hall of fame.
